A ticket sold in Youngstown has snagged the $11.1 million Ohio Classic Lotto jackpot after 83 rollovers. The player correctly matched the winning numbers 6, 30, 35, 36, 39 and 43 on Saturday 27th December to become the first jackpot winner on the game since Saturday 14th June, when one lucky ticket holder claimed $73.3 million following two and a half years without a top tier success.
The first jackpot-winning ticket in six months was bought at Youngstown’s Shell Food Mart and meant that Monday’s drawing reverted to the base top prize of $1 million, with no player managing to match all six numbers. The game returns on Wednesday 31st December with a chance to win $1.1 million and you can check out the recent results from the game at the Ohio Lottery Results section of Lottery.net.
There is still plenty of lottery cash available to help start 2015 with a bang, thanks to two huge multi-state lottery jackpots available this week. Wednesday’s Powerball stands at $120 million and tonight’s Mega Millions drawing is worth an awesome $172 million if you can match all five main numbers and the Mega Ball.
Make sure you keep an eye on Lottery World as the results will appear after the drawings and this could be the place where you find out that your life has changed forever!
