The one and only winning ticket was sold at a Publix grocery store and based on comments made on the Zephyrills Free Press Facebook page it’s the Publix 301 across from Walmart.

According to NBC’s Kerry Saunders the winning ticket could have been sold to one of the 10,000’s of people who come to the area’s drop zone, one of the most popular sky-diving spots in the United States.

The winning ticket is worth $590.5 million and the federal government will take $148 million in tax. It’s the biggest Powerball jackpot in history and if the lucky winner elects to take the lump sum they will receive a staggering $370 million before taxes.
